The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Tentative Answer Key for the SSC GD Constable Examination 2026. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University prior to the specified crucial date in the official notification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 23 Years
  • Note: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen) as per Central Government rules.

Application Fee & Objection Fee Details

The standard application fee required at the time of form submission was as follows:

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
  • SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen: Nil (Exempted)

Representation/Objection Fee: Candidates wishing to challenge any question or answer in the Tentative Answer Key must pay a fee of ₹100 per question/answer challenged through the online portal within the specified objection window.

Selection Process

The selection process for the SSC GD Constable post consists of the following consecutive stages:
