Vacancy Details & Qualification Criteria

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the required educational qualification from a recognized Institution/Board/University before applying for the posts.

1. Technician Grade I (Signal)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation OR Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering in the relevant stream.

2. Technician Grade III

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation (Class 10th) pass plus ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade (e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Wireman, Instrument Mechanic, Turner, Welder, etc.) OR 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (for specific posts).

Age Limit (As of 01/07/2026)

• Technician Grade I (Signal): 18 to 36 years
• Technician Grade III: 18 to 33 years

Age Relaxation Rules

Upper age limit relaxation is applicable as per Central Government norms:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
• SC / ST: 5 Years
• PwBD Candidates: 10 to 15 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government guidelines
