The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official recruitment notification for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XVI) for the 2026–27 vacancy cycle. Selection Process

The recruitment process for IBPS PO/MT XVI involves a three-tier selection framework:

  • Stage 1: Preliminary Examination – Online objective test (100 Marks) testing English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.
  • Stage 2: Main Examination – Combined objective test (200 Marks) and descriptive test (25 Marks) covering Reasoning, Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, Data Analysis & Interpretation, and English Essay/Letter Writing.
  • Stage 3: Common Interview – Conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS (100 Marks).
